Machame route is a second established route to Climb Mt Kilimanjaro after Marangu route. This route was nicknamed as Wiskey Route of which many people don’t know why, but was named as Wiskey route since was the first camping route established to hike Mount Kilimanjaro. Due to its varied and beautiful nature this route become so popular, unbeaten one and with amazing splendor. The route start with a short drive from Moshi town to Machame gate before the hike starts. The route begins from the south heads to west and then later traverse to underneath Kilimanjaro’s southern ice filed before summiting from south east of the mountain. The population on this route has been reduced after the coming of Lemosho route which is considered as new route. These two routes meet up in day three and continue as one until the end of the tour.
DAY 0
A driver will pick you from Airport {KIA} to your arrenged Hotel in Moshi Town. After arriving to your Hotel, you will meet your guide and he will give you a brief about the upcoming hike and do some checkup of hike gear, to make sure that you have all the necessary Mount gear. Incase of some missing gear will be rented befor hiking

DAY 01
A day start with the drive from your Hotel to Machame Gate. After arriving to the gate will be wait for the registration and permits. There after we will start a gentle work by passing through rain forest from Machame Gate to Machame Camp.

DAY 02: Machame camp to Shira Cave Camp
Our route continue on, by passing across rain forest until we meet a Shira cave camp. Where there you will be able to see Mt Meru arising high above Arusha Town in the distance.

Eleven: 9350ft to 12,500ft

DAY 03: SHIRA CAVE CAMP TO BARANCO CAMP
You continue for the Hike from Shira Cave Camp to Lava Tower, which is almost 5hrs to Lava Tower. Also will be working on high moorland and after arriving to Lava Tower you will get break and you will be able to have lunch. After having lunch you will continue to hike through magnificent Baranco valley to Baranko camp site.
It is a tough way where most of the people start to experience some mountain sickness like headaches and breathlessness. At this point you will be needed to drink a lot of water, because water its Mountain madecine if you drink it you can.

DAY 04: BARANCO CAMP TO BARAFU CAMP
After a breakfast, a trail start by going high up through Baranco Wall, a 240m high requires just basic climbing experience and does not require previous experience. Then a trek proceed s through the Karanga Valley, over a path that goes up and down the whole timeyou continue in a southeasterly to the junction before turning North to reach Barafu Camp. Here you take a long rest and prepare for the midnight ascent to the Summit.
DAY 05: BARAFU CAMP TO UHURU PEAK
At midnight you will head in a northwesterly direction up to the souteast valley toward Stella point on the Creter rim, 6hrs long walk to Stella Point. Another hours take us to Summit Uhuru Peak (5895m). The time you spend on the Summit it dtermined by the weather condition. The walk back to mweka Camp from the Summit can take over 7hrs.

DAY 06: MWEKA CAMP TO MWEKA PARK GATE
After a breakfast from Mweka camp, you will continue down to Mweka village, normally a muddy and long hour walk. A driver will pick you from Mweka Gate to your Hotels were you be served with delicious hot lunch and long hot shower. After a rest, a successful climbers will be awarded a Summit certificate, and those who ended at Stella Point will be issued by green certificate, and those who ended Uhuru Peak will receive a Gold cerificate
